Weather

Active weather the last few days has kept the avalanche hazard slightly elevated, particularly in the upper mountains. About 2 inches of water accumulated since Saturday. The freezing line fluctuated, bringing a mix of rain and snow at sea level and mostly snow above 1500 feet. Moderate to strong winds continue to load western aspects.

Expect more precipitation in the next 24 hours. Models suggest another half inch plus of water. The freezing line should come down, and precipitation looks to taper Wednesday night. After that, colder and dryer conditions should promote stability through Saturday.
