Weather
The avalanche season is winding down, as the snowpack melts away. We are in the midst of spring shed, however, and our snowpack will be tested with rain, heavy at times, tonight into Wednesday. Avalanches are not expected to affect the highway. Backcountry users should be wary of cornice and glide crack failure, as well as wet loose snow releases off steep unsupported slopes.
